My Story
I am the CEO of Managed MedSpa, a Management Services Organization (MSO) and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, with more than 15 years of experience in both medicine and business. Originally from Ecuador, I earned my medical degree before moving to the United States in 2003. I completed my surgery residency at East Tennessee State University and went on to pursue a Fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopy at the University of Miami, graduating in 2012. That same year, I relocated to Augusta, GA, where I’ve continued to grow my career as both a physician and entrepreneur.
My passion for aesthetics and patient-centered care is matched by my drive to help businesses thrive. Coming from a business-oriented family, I’ve built a diverse portfolio that includes a surgical weight loss practice, a medical weight loss clinic, a restaurant, partial ownership in a surgical center, and investments in commercial real estate. These experiences give me a unique perspective on strategy, operations, and the challenges entrepreneurs face across industries.
As a MedSpa leader, I believe every practice has its own DNA. My approach is to truly understand each client’s needs—what they want and what they actually need—to design strategies that optimize revenue cycles, strengthen cash flow, and position the business for sustainable growth. My role is to provide clarity, direction, and actionable plans that empower owners to take control of their future.
My philosophy for clients is simple: “Know where you are, understand your unique differentiator, and master your revenue cycle. With clarity, you gain the power to change direction and unlock new opportunities.”
Outside of work, I enjoy sketching and traveling—pursuits that fuel both my creativity and curiosity.
